Loskop Valley, South Africa · Personal enquiries: +27 81 435 4495Plains game is central to the Paurosa wildlife experience. The conservancy’s published 2026 species list includes impala, blesbuck, white blesbuck, bushbuck, klipspringer, reedbuck, nyala, kudu, wildebeest, red hartebeest, eland, duiker, zebra, waterbuck and giraffe.
For an observer or photographer, each encounter brings its own interest: a group moving together, an animal framed by vegetation, or the distinctive lines of horns and stripes.
Spend time with the gallery before your visit and share the subjects you would most like to see. A wildlife hide session can provide a discreet viewpoint, with allocation and current opportunities confirmed by the lodge.
If your interest is hunting, consult the rates page for standard and trophy columns. Prices, species availability, measurements and the final arrangements are confirmed with Sam Mia.
Paurosa’s published 2026 hunting season is 1 May to 31 August. Ask the lodge about future season dates and available bookings.

Think about the light, background and distance as well as the animal itself. A portrait, a herd and a wider landscape can tell different parts of the same story.
Provide preferred dates, group size and species of interest. Sam Mia will discuss availability, the published rates and the applicable arrangements before confirming a booking.
